With the latest update, the hordes of Caithe and Scarlet minipets are disappearing from the TP, and the exotic minis are on a upward bound. The question is, how high will the exotic minipets go?

I never got the whole catch them all minipet thing… so I doubt I’ll ever invest in it lol.

i cant really see any of the series 1 pets topping 100g any time soon. the demand is too low for pets in general at the moment. IF Anet introduced a mini pet arena…. the sky is the limit

I’m sure my mini Liadri will kick butt.

But perhaps the mini dolls and their confusion stacks might win out in the end.

I would LOVE to see Polymock introduced as a new activity, with minipets (each having their own suite of skills) being used as pieces.

Since every player also gets a mini Queen Jennah as the First Birthday Present, every player in the game will eventually get a piece too.

An easy way to introduce the Mini-Arena: The Asura starter zone! There’s a mini game there were two golems face each other via a turn based type board. With a mini-arena, your mini pet gets loaded into the arena in place of the golems. They can put this arena on that south area in LA where looks like they were going to put some sort of mini arena at one point.

Well if you look at it carefully I would say they will do polymock fights only for non account bound minis, which would mean only S1 and S2 minis would participate.

Some will ask: Why?
The answer is simple. They would never do an activity that would give advantage to those who were playing for 2 years and some just entered the game. For that manner they would only use minis that can be bought by everyone who just want to have them. That is almost dedicated to seasonal minis, not those special ones that went to a sell and now they are gone.

Account bound minis in gamble boxes plus the whole “you have to buy the set of three twice and forge one of the sets to get the last one” stuff did critical damage even before mr sparkles.

They would never do that for one simple reason. It would fling the game squarely into the P2W category. Only being able to participate in one aspect of the game if you spend money in the gem store… I hope that no one would be left playing this game if they did that.

Actually I believe that the place has already been determined inside Rata Sum, however it’s inaccessible (possible future update but who knows when):

Polymock in GW1 didn’t used minis…. but well I’m hoping it does in GW2 to give them some extra “value”.
