Any idea why it’s so high? I remeber it being around 20c, now its closing in on 80.

I believe people were crafting rares to salvage for ectos when it rose from 40c to 50c. Not sure about the 80c spike.

Fewer people farming in Orr and tagging mithril nodes while doing event chains. Much of that crowd has moved into dungeons and fractals.

You know what that means! Lets all go to Orr and farm mithril for money!!

People in fractals still generate a fair amount of mithril. It’s a salvager’s mithril-mine.

Admittedly not anything like the mithril you get doing a complete Orr mining run.

Yeah, and I think there are more people who vendor trash low end drops than people who salvage for the mithril and then sell that…. not saying people don’t salvage, I think a higher % of people converting trash drops to coin are just merching rather than salvaging and selling the mithril.

Not sure what’s causing the price spike but as someone who still hunts Mithril nodes in Orr I am certainly enjoying it.

I thought it was going to be a Sunday night thing and wouldn’t go higher than 70c, then Monday rolled around and people were listing it at 84c at one point. Makes up for that time I thought I’d get in on the Platinum trade only to see prices plummet on Platinum ore.

I ran around to gather mithril in the places that contains them.
It’s a SLOW way to make money.
