Why has mithril ore jumped from 27c~ today/yesterday to 45c as of now?

At this rate it will hit 60c-70c tomorrow?!

Is there a new recipe or something responsible for this?

No new recipe that I know of. The increase in price maybe due to the fact that more people are buying it to make their Gifts of Metal or whatever gift Mithril is required.

Also I told people it can be used to make ori ore in the mystic forge using 250 of it. So yeah, my fault.

I doubt that’s the reason as you’ll come out with a loss if you do it

But… it’s easy to get stacks of mithril ore. I don’t even gather them from nodes and I’ve amassed 4-5 stacks.

The number of people mining went down when the prices went down. T5 mats are going back down so metals are going up.

My guess is market manipulators: check spidy the supply completely dropped off over the course of a day. My guess is somebody bought up a bunch of supply to push the price higher (i.e. create an artificial scarcity)

That must be a very rich person, but as loving gathering i like the price to be raising like that atm.

Definitely possible – with all the teleport hack node botters now, it could be a large gold seller buying up supply to push prices higher

From what I can tell the price rise is due to change in the respawn time on mithril nodes.

Wow I made a lot of money from this method! I definitely recommend doing this while wintersday lasts.

I’m assuming this was the reason for the spike. Turning 1 glob of ecto into stacks with mithril ore + repeat salvaging.
