My Main is a Necro, And I got all the permanent tools. I did buy gem using $ to get them.

If Molten Pickax can be reset back to inventory again without being soul bounded to my necro.

I will buy the bone pick without any hesitation!

Yeah im waiting for an unbind item on the TP soon. Got the bonepick and stuck it on my warrior instead for now.

Soulbound tools when they’re releasing new skins of them? Kinda ridiculous.

I have to admit – if I could swap the two molten pickaxes I have on my necros on to new characters (aka all molten pick axes are returned to inventory and reset to account bound/soulbound on use) I’d buy two of the bone picks in a heartbeat.

$10 for style and utility? Yes, please.
$10 just to swap to a different style when I already have the utility? Pass.

Yes, I would pay to unsoulbind my molten pick on the necro and then pay again for the bone pick.

I’m going to chime in on this one. Now having the molten axe, consort scythe and aethir axe sitting in my bank soulbound to a character that’s since been deleted

This transmute -> soulbound -> trans splitter -> soulbound -> transmute -> account bound is making mass profits for anet. Gotta say it was smart, very sneaky, but when will it all fall apart and people will realize what a ripoff it is?

Uh… completely irrelevant to harvesting tools…

Eh talking about “unsoulbinding” items just makes the point even more apparent. This system is extremely messy, conveluted and relies far too much on the gemstore.

I would certainly buy a Soul Bound → Account Bound conversion item if it worked for everything. With all the work for Legendary and Ascended weapons it would be nice to be able to reallocate them, not to mention moving the harvesting tools around occasionally.
