I bought the molten pickaxe the first day it was avaliable. I through it in the bank because i bout it on a level 7 character I was testing out. After realizing I didnt care to much for the alt so I deleted her. After getting on my main and getting in my bank I see that the Pickaxe is soulbound to a character that was destroyed and I have a pickaxe that is now useless. Support said they could do nothing and that I am SOL.
really? What do you think should or shouldnt be soulbound from the BLTC?

It isn’t Soulbound when you buy it, but as the description says it will Soulbind on Use.

I am just thinking that account bound sounds better as some games have been trying to do away with just one character use

While I occasionally lose a 10$ bill in the seats of my car, on the whole I try not to be so flippant with my money.

Still, sound’s like a pretty cheap lesson in being more aware.

I was interested in this item until I saw it was soulbound. I switch characters a lot (variety is nice!) and since this is soulbound the item is useless to me.

Why? It’s not a bug, the description says that it will soulbind when it’s used. It’s because of things like this that an entire generation of Americans grew up with things like coffee cups labeled “Hot Coffee!” in large letters, followed by a warning in bright red letters “Warning: Coffee may be HOT! Hot Coffee May Cause Burns!”

And they still burn themselves with it.

They know what they can get away with. kitten off a couple, enjoy the money of others.

It should not be soulbound, but it does seem Anet has been pushing against multiple character usage these days.

naw, they just want you to buy more of them. If they think they can force you to buy it multiple times for all your characters, they will. at least for this, it’s all about the money and not about what it should be.
