I remember those kept rising in price until they reached 15s, now they keep dropping more and more, is it because monthly was easy and had many choices this month, or did people use them for certain thing and now they don’t anymore?

Dailies and Monthlies are easier because you have more than 5 options to do them. I completed this monthly completely by accident and a lot of people who don’t do them on purpose are still completing them anyway.

This means more mystic coins in the system and so the price has been steadily dropping every since the multiple option daily/monthly was introduced.

Fans is correct. I read a lot of people didn’t bother with monthly unless it was easy before the update.

Actually, the ease of monthlies likely has nothing to do with it. The price peaked on 1/12, and remained over 12s through the end of January. What changed? The laurel system was added on 1/28 and ensured players would go to extra lengths to complete the daily every day, and monthly every month. The reason the price started falling in advance of 1/28 is because mystic coins had become an investment item, and many people who had stockpiled them dumped their stock on the TP before the price fell too far.

IMO the prices dropped once people ha a reason to do the dailies (laurels were introduced). Hope that helps.

Also mystic coins are used for exotic weapon recipies in the mystic forge and since it’s 6 months in and not many new skins or uses for mystic coins are out fewer people have a need for them.
