Increase Bid for Copper Ore @ 2 copper and I notice the top bid increases by the same amount at the same exact time???

Is the Black Lion Trading Co borrowing shares? err… I mean Copper Ore???

Question for A-net…. Are all bid’s made by paying customers? Those who are playing the game?

Please, I’d love to hear from someone official on this… with a 100% honest answer.

Do lower bid’s promote naked buys by non-existing players? (If so, I will never play this game again) If it’s happening… it will get exposed… I promise.

If this has always been SOP for the TP… please forgive me and I will part way’s with GW2.

Lol, it’s a live market which operates 24/7. It is by no surprised that you were outbid almost at the exact same time you put your bid, because there are just vultures like that. Alternatively though, if you seriously believe your theory is correct and that there are what you so call “naked shares”, then you should probably leave the game if you seriously think this game would employ such a system.

I also believe this question has been asked and answered before, no idea if John Smith will come up here to personally rip your tin foil hat into tiny little pieces and gallop away :o (into the sunset)

Unfortunately, all we have left are these Black Lion surplus copper foil hats. They should work almost as well.

Seriously though, the TP spans every single server. That’s a lot of players and copper ore is one of the top three most traded items on the market. The chart is looking really weird lately.

Did someone release some “get rich quick” guide that said to trade copper? Whatever your plan is, apparently there are thousands of other folks trying to do exactly the same thing.

Edit – Oh yeah, on a lark I Googled it and apparently trading in copper ore is a make easy money fad. See? It’s harder to be a TP Mogul than most folks think

Ahh this explains why copper went nuts. When someone posts these TP “secrets” and use specific items like copper you’re going to see exactly what you saw. The market takes time to earn decent money by watching trends, you can’t just make money with lowball buy orders on fast moving items like copper. Silly that.

Drat, and I sold a stack of Copper Ore a few days ago because I’d hit the 250 cap again. :P Ah well.
