Ok so I am lvl 63 and I consider myself to be more than a casual player. I have a lot of MMO experience but I have never really gotten into the economics of them. I farm like everyone else does. I look to se e what sells and if I have it I sell it, maybe go farm it. But it seems like people are saying there are multiple ways to play the TP. Is it true? Are there really numerous ways to make money with different strats?

To be honest, if you’re a casual, you’re not going to be online long enough to power trade.

The most you could do is speculate on items which would increase in value over time. But I doubt you have enough money at that level to make any significant investments

I am definitely not casual. Just see a lot of people talk about how there are ways to make a lot off the TP. I mean I have seen the rise in some mats and all. I just was curious if people really had strats and formulas for it

There are indeed different ways of making money on the tp (e.g. flipping, market manipulation, long time speculation etc. etc.).

Casual traders sell things they get while playing.

Farmers go out of their way to go to places with good drops, kill things there, and sell what they get.

Crafters gather crafting materials, craft items, then sell them.

Traders buy items off the tp, sometimes turn them into other items (by salvaging or crafting), then sell them and reinvest the money they got to do it again.
