Guild Wars 2

Anyone else have this problem? Several in my guild say they do as well as me. I can deposit to the guild bank but no option for deposit to my account bank. This started after introduction of the wallet. How do you go for “Golden” title if you can not make deposits?

Well that stinks. I like putting my money in the bank because if it is on hand it’s too readily available to spend. Not only that, when the money shows on each character, it’s hard to remember they are holding EVERYONE’S money. No one carries ALL their money with them……just saying.

I foresee an imminent explosion in the number of single-person guilds in GW2…

I do, I got a little plastic card in my wallet that has all my money on it and I also have a card that holds money I don’t have.

I have 5 toons and the only time I ever deposited money in the bank was to transfer funds from 1 toon to the next. I understand that some people who can’t manage their funds and control their spending would be inconvenienced by not being able to deposit in their bank. For people like me the bank deposit was more of an inconvenience than anything else and the new account wallet a blessing.

Buy orders are more convenient and cost nothing.
Just place some “low” price buy orders on legendaries and cancel them when you need the money.

I did make my own guild for that in preparation for the change but I’ve found it to be more useful for doing mass transfers of items between characters(had to move around 100 dyes between characters).
