Maybe just maybe anet wants the market to be suddenly flooded with omega golems. I mean with wvw seasons isn’t it more epic and more fun when you have a zerg fighting another zerg all in omega golem outfits?

Do you know how long it takes (mainly to collect the supplies) to build 50 let alone 100 omega golems? 15k supplies for 100 omegas takes a while.
