We should be able to buy a single armor piece from the set on Gem Store.
Make it 250 gems per piece or something.

For example, you spend 250 gems, you get a chest via mail, you click on it and you have to option to chose the piece you want.

yeah id still want my 2000 gems back as ive bought full suits for one piece..

I think this would be a good idea. At least for future releases. I always liked only certain parts of the armors they puplished so far. So i didn´t pay the wooping 800 gems for just one single piece.

tbh im not bothered about getting the gems back as long as its only on future releases from here on out

It was asked for a while. Now they heard us and give us 500 Gem pieces instead of 800 Gems sets… 250 Gems won’t happen…

If they did sell them separately, I doubt they’d all be the same price. It’d be something like gloves/boots for 100, helm/shoulders for 200 and chest/leggings for 300.

I doubt they’d actually sell them through the store though, since it would make quite a large mess. They would be forced to sell it as a box allowing you to select whatever piece, which would also mean the price would be balanced around the chest/leggings. The other option however is introducing a black lion armor specialist along with armor tickets (copying how weapons are handled).

Even 400 gems is better than 800.

The price of the Stag Helm, Grenth Hood and the new little scar say 500 gems per single item will be the price point for helms. Toxic Gloves and Mantle prices show that it’s 400 gems for shoulders and gloves. Expect to pay more for a single chest/leggings item.

don’t you think it’s already ridicules that the armor skins are 800 gems, 500 is plenty since we still need to buy yet another armor set to actually use them and they can only be used for one character.
if it’s an unlock then sure, make them 800 a pop but for now i find it a ripoff to ask that much money for such a small use on an item that expensive.

but i wont buy more and more full sets just because 1 piece looks good in combination with other armor pieces…

The recent trend in shoulders in helms, suggest it would be 400-500 gems. Leaning more towards 500 gems each.

Never going to happen. Anet preys on people who want that nice chest piece or those fancy boots. If we want a piece we gotta buy the whole cake
