youre suggesting that if you have a craft maxed when you buy this, you should get that craft maxed for free on another toon of your choice?

I think he is suggesting to move the learned craft from one character to another, with the first then no longer having the crafting profession at all.

I’d buy a gem store item that does that [transfers a craft from one character to another]! even if it’s just one-time use. 1000 gems sounds fair. I’d be willing to even pay up to 3000 gems for it, I’d just do it more carefully and less often.

I’d most certainly not. For my taste it should come as an option with the purchase of the crafting expansion slot. The crafting expansion is definitely great for newer players or people who play less characters. I’m just not going to level any craft up again.

you will once you realize you can get 7 levels off it for like 2g and 30 mins…. on every alt ever. since levelling is hell.

Nah, I’m really easy going that way. Couple of alts I sort of started (in the past) but didn’t continue. I sort of did that with dailies. Log in with the alt to salvage the last item or mine the last node needed. That sort of thing. I never had an issue with the leveling curve.
