I went to Lion’s Arch and I see people saying: LOL IF TP was up i’d be rich! and this is lots of people.

They practically told people what to stockpile before the patch.

Ectos which was a big one actually went down when the tp came up.

Not sure why people are rushing to buy anything… everything is time gated. By the time you use those mats they will have crashed back down to normal price. But hey, a fool and his money are easily parted.

someone or a group of people will probably profit from the mini yellow moa. It was 22 when it came up and before I could even buy, it returned an error and when refreshed was 44g. with only 12 in stock.

only spend money on what can bring you more money.

don’t follow vashoom’s advice to the letter! I got rich precisely because I crafted a legendary… then sold it 600g profit after tax. it’s equipping a legendary that bankrupts you.

I suppose getting rich in GW2 is super cool and all; especially with all the awesome stuff you can buy… oh wait…

I made 30g off of 5 traveler runes so it was a good day for me.

Giot around 1000g from invasion event sold pretty much everything I got from champ boxes. Will not worry about gold and karmas for awhile. Karmas is at 3.2m

does nothing in the gem store ever interest you?

If nothing does, or if you want more permanent expensive services unlocked, search the trading post for things like “mystic forge conduit” (portable mystic forge) or just search for the word “permanent” (bank access, trading post, vendor, and more..).

these are more practical useful items, rather than weapon skins of funny hats etc.. for the more rich players.

If your gold holds so little value to you I’ll gladly take it off your hands.

I managed to earn nearly 200g during the months of July and August. And I’m neither a TP player OR a hardcore farmer. That’s pretty incredible when I think about it. O.o

I’ve been playing since beta, and the most gold I’ve ever held in one moment was 40g lol IF I were to count every piece I’ve made then it’d probably only hit about 80g, so the people that are in like the 1000g+ range, I’ve no clue how they do it lol

^ by being cheap, crafting wisely, buying wisely, lots of harvesting, a bit of farming, a bit of playing the TP, and not wasting gold on silly things.

I made 450g in under an hour last evening selling 6 stacks of ori ingots and 3 stacks of ancient planks and some raw ori ore and ancient logs.

Um… I think you might want to include the time it took to get those mats into your calculation there…

Actually all the mats I sold were harvested/salvaged by me over a few months .
I did not place one buy order for any of it.
