As title says, do perma banned accounts have all their active listing on the outpost automatically removed from the economy? Or do they stay there?

A permanent ban does nothing to the contents of the account. All it does is prevent anyone from having access to that account (via logging in).

They won’t delete stuff from a permanently banned account as that account could be later disputed down the road and be unlocked again for use (rare, but can happen). So yes, anything that they have put up on the trading post will still be there unless Anet logs into that account and removes it.

They should be deleted permanently. As that would fix the economy with all the below Merchant price orders and sales done by hackers and bots.

That could be be easily avoided by treating it as if the account owner removed all the listings normally. There is still the listing fee but they could refund that too.

I would imagine there is a “suspended” state everything on the account is put into. The items are neither visible for purchase nor destroyed, just set aside against possible reinstatement.

That’s going to be a lot of extra queries that may affect the database integrity in the long run.

I can imagine they’ll do a house cleaning/audit once in a while to remove said items though.

I’ll belive they audit when they clean out the orders below vendor price.
