Contrary to popular belief, there is no data to suggest that this item drops from black lion chests.

I’ve noticed the demand for this item exceeds some legendary items. Is there any chance these will become available again, maybe in the BL chests? Or can anyone confirm they come from the chests? It’s obviously a highly desired item, seems sad to see it scrapped. Or maybe add gem-charging barbers, as I’ve seen suggested?

It doesn’t drop anymore and it never dropped from the black lion chest in the first place.

The wiki is written by players, not by Anet so dont take what it says like the “word of god”.

1. You don’t need to change your hair style every time.
2. You could only get the Permanent Hair Stylist contract from a Wintersday Mystery Box, which cost 100 gems per attempt. So by the time you actually got it, the complaint about spending 28g every time would seem pointless.
3. Don’t expect to see a way to avoid paying $3.13 per change unless you decide to start farming keys and getting extremely lucky.
