Is this still available through the chests or were they a promotional item? Was going to try a stack of keys for weapons skins.. but I may get a few more keys if these are still available.

The drop rate is INSANELY low.

Its from a stupid black lion chest, so yah, pretty much no chance. Better off figuring out a way of getting a lot of gold and buying it off the TP instead if ever someone decides to sell it.

Serious though, don’t buy keys and this stupid lock box practice will die and go away like it should. It should never have been in the game in the first place.

I actually don’t think it drops any more. The wiki is likely wrong. I think it only dropped from the wintersday gem boxes. I’m happy I have mine but I wish I hadn’t sold my second for a piddly 300g. Could go up to 1000g or more if they don’t rerelease it.

I got one recently on the day of the BL Key sale, but I did open more than 50 chests that day…

I stand corrected. Now I don’t feel AS bad for selling one for 300g.

Oh my bad! I thought you were referring to the gem store item; Self-Style Hair Kit and not the Permanent Hair Stylist Contract…
Not sure about that one actually – I haven’t ever encountered it in any of my chests.

Well I got the normal hair kit… and there are none of the perm ones in the trading post any longer so I am assuming that you cannot get them anymore Would be nice to have an official answer on this though.
