I thought I’d ask around here, does anyone know what caused it to rise so much? A few days ago it was sitting around 13c a piece to buy directly and now its at 50c.

someone (maybe you?) bought up all the supply.

Sometimes people buy a ton of X item, create a post about X item to cause a scare and try to make a profit off of it. Happens about once a week.

Heh, it wasn’t me I assure you. I put in a buy order for 250 when it was around 12 copper and when 2 days passed and I still didn’t have items in the trading post I noticed the price had doubled. Since then its continued rising =/

Pretty sure the jump is legit, a lot of T3/T4 mats shot up in price this weekend (and are starting to tail off now).

Call it a population spike from the 3 day weekend in the states.

Ah, alright. Thanks for confirming, its pretty annoying to place an order only to see its price rise by 400% in a few days

It’s possible it falls back to its previous level but I suspect this kitty is out of the bag, so to speak. There just aren’t enough people running around those zones to support any sort of volume; it takes something like 5-10x as long to fill platinum orders than mithril orders, even at the higher prices.

The supply has dropped by 2,725,054. Wth!
