Hello,
What is the reason the supply of Powerful Venom Sacs increased and the price is dropping? Would it be wise to stack sacs? Or do you think the price will keep dropping.

Their demand is staying relatively constant but supply is increasing due to them dropping more frequently from Orr and Moldy Bags. Prices will probably continue to drop assuming no more loot nerfs and such until they level off at some lower price.

Ok thanks, but the other t6 mats are still the same price, that’s strange.

T6 prices are going to drop very soon. It takes bots a few weeks to get back going, and they’ll be around until the next bot ban wave (2 months).

So if you do plan on investing in T6, do it when they are bottoming out.

Some of the other T6 mats are staying the same price, but supplies are rising across the board with the return to Orr and the availability of all T6 mats from Risen type mobs.

Powerful Venom Sacs are slightly different because while T6 mats like claws and fangs seem to drop randomly, venom sacs are a common assigned drop to risen spiders. One of the most popular areas of Orr is the Pent/Shelter/Jofast event area, and the Shelter’s Gate event is about 50% spiders/50% other risen. Because of this, venom sacs have a much higher drop rate relative to other T6 mats (excluding ancient bones) in Orr.

I think the drop has already happened. Starting to see some speculation.

Vicious Fangs dropped in price too, while I was flipping them, hope the market will recover soon.

Its a following effect from kharma beinging valuable again. With kharma translating (at a painfully low rate) to lodestones, doing 80th level dynamic events is back in season.

I know I prioritize massacring the spider waves over the humanoid waves in the shelter camp event specifically because they drop venom. I also try to persuad most pugs to kill everything in the Jade Maw fractal because the squids drop venom.

I’ll assume that’s the reason. The bags drop very often now, and many are probably playing in Orr to experiment with the “latest changes”. If they’ve been heavily invested in, those investors might also soon unload to risk losses — and the prices will drop even further. Hard to say where it’ll go, however… ANet can easily change something to go one way or another.

You tend to get a few of those venom sacs in the jade maw fractal if you kill the mobs, maybe an avg of 3 per run.
