Precursor price inflation
Arent legendaries going to be account bound? There’s your reason.
probably because you’ll be able to transmute the legendary skin on multiple characters, meaning that more people want to own legendaries.
Here’s how I cope.
Step 1: Accept that I will never, ever, be able to obtain a precursor.
Step 2: Play the game or quit (still unsure which way to go here).
Problem solved.
This was inevitable, but you’ll notice too the increase in price of Krait Crooks and Kraits Slayers as well as T5 mats (which in my experience are directly tied to the precursor market). Since JS mentioned that the drop Mystic Forge precursor rate will remain unchanged, we can no doubt expect crafters and mystic forgers to meet the increased demand for precursors by throwing more rares into the MF.
In short, there is enough gold to be made crafting/MFing rares that the precursor rate will likely remain mostly stable. in the long term.
Delicious price increases are delicious. But then, when new Legendaries come out, with new Precursors to tag along, you’ll see instant price drops for the old stuff.
most skins will raise in price on 15th when the masses realize the warderobe and start to collect everything

maybe its the other way around, skins will be much cheaper than they are now because we only need 1 for each account.
there is no “maby”
people will start to collect everything just to fill the warderobe
was same in wow ages ago when they started with transmog – everyone collected everything and price go up

That is the way i saw it too..since you won’t have to make another legendary of the same type for another character i thought there would be a price drop…I will rest my hopes that this will be a bubble and it will eventually burst somehow…the lol part is that all of these changes are supposedly keeping the economy balanced…
You’ll see that the ones that can be dual wielded has risen the most. Craft 1 bolt/incinerator and be able to dual wield it after april patch? Yes please. More people have caught on. And there is your answer.
Also account bound legendaries and you can make multiple copies are making legendaries more wanted now.
everything is account bound now. like seriously, that should b an instant que that prices are just hype atm. it would b best to wait a few weeks or a month after the patch and start seeing the prices to suddenly drop into a heavy, permanent trough. once people will have legendaries and skins that they want, there will b a large supply of them remaining in the market. so yes, dont buy any “hyped” prices right now as they will start to deflate once after the patch hits.
