Is there something in the works to allow for previewing armor from the trading post before you buy it? Its very difficult to know what you want to buy without seeing it first :-(

It is a bit strange that you can’t, really.

I hope it’s just an oversight and that they’ll add it in a patch.

This is the feature we requested long time ago in beta and they haven’t had any official response yet…

Not only bumped, but /bugged in game. This must be a bug. It is as an important feature, as the ability to jump or walk forward. Why am I forced to buy all the armor pieces in the TP only to see how I’d look in them? Really?

Well, this is just really stupid of them to not already offer…

Can we at least get some official comments on why it’s not here yet?

The trading post is pretty much a web browser embed in the game, so while they allow previewing items built into the client, it’s probably proving very difficult to get that same functionality out of a web page :P I’m sure they’ll think of something though

No, TP only sends the data like ItemId, price etc to client. Preview items can be handled by client really easy since the logic already there. It seems Dev are either busy fixing bugs or taking the vacation, no one adding new features to the game.

I would love to preview armor and weapons in the TP. That would be great!
