So, I was super excited for this year of halloween as I could finally complete my character and get a Greatsaw Greatsword Skin. Or the Scythe Skin for that matter!

However I am now concerned I will never aquire the skin. RNG gods are not fond of me and there’s not a single one on the Trading Post.

It’s actually more rare now then Legendaries, which is silly.

Are these returning? Are the forever going to be only on a few people like event hats and the like.

I would love the Bat skin if I had a necromancer that could wield a Greatsword.

Any word on these returning, or appearing someplace else for the event? I would love to know.

Yeah but earlier there was 26 greatswords listed, so expect to tie up that gold for a long time and get undercut lots, reason I didn’t buy the shields or swords, can make more money doing other things.

What ANET needs to do is add the old BLC skins for 10 claim tickets, I find it really sad every skin has been made available except h’ween series 1.

Technically, the Southsun Cove skins aren’t available on the BLC either. Though they’re dirt-cheap on the TP so its not that much of an issue as it is with the Halloween skins.

Someone had a guess that they may be in the dungeon that is released later. I could see that happening.

Before supply ran out they pumped more into the economy and I’m sure they’ll do it again in the future. When they did add them back in they disabled the chest recipe you could use in the forge for the old exotic mini’s to keep them limited.

I also suspect they will come back, but not via the dungeon. My theory is that after this Halloween is over, when the new skins go up in price to 5/7/10 Black Lion tickets, the old Halloween skins will also become available for the same number of Black Lion tickets. It’d be win-win all around; players who don’t have the skin now have a long-term goal to work towards, players who spent loads of gems/gold on them don’t feel that their items are “devalued”, and ANet sees lots more people buying keys.

So just an update. 9 are available on the trading post now.

They are going for around 650-700 a piece.

Kinda silly.
