I noticed today that the Wasp logging tool can be transferred between characters, I like this idea very much but at the same time it seems unfair for players who have the earlier versions (like myself) who have the soulbound tools on one char.

I hope anet considers making the older versions account-bound due to this logging axe establishing precedence, this would have helped me decide favourably for the golem sickle, as I had wanted to buy it because I like the theme very much…but in the end didn’t due to the soulbound factor, as my main had the consortium one.

I would’ve liked the option to pass the old one to a alt and buy the Golem sickle for my main as a example…

Your tools are able to be switched as well.

This is not the first account bound tool. New tools were made account bound (and increased to 1000 gems from 800) in November I think. Old tools can be traded in at no cost for an account bound version of the same thing, so if you have an old tool you effectively save 200 gems over new purchasers.

He’s right next to the black lion TP in the vigil keep, iirc.

There’s also a Black Lion Weapon Specialist in each racial city now as well. Don’t know where they all are, but I know the one in Black Citadel is inside the building with the TP, so I’d guess the others might be near the TP in each respective city as well.

It would be nice to be able to choose between the skins of the gathering tool, if you bought different ones. Similar to the finishers.
