hehe. the number of sell listings actually increased while the price decreased. it only went from 90c to 67c. probably just someone accidentally buying too many so they listed them. I do wish I was online to buy some right now… maybe it’ll go lower by the time I get on? :P

Maybe people trying to get rid of old inventory before Halloween rolls around and more nodes arrive?
So suddenly? The price has been stable the last month, varying only from 95c to 1s10c back and forth.
Price is now down to 59c…
In May 200k candy corn disappeared from the tp and the price went from 60c to a silver.
My guess would be that someone tried to manipulate the market but until now, not enough buy orders piled up between 06-1s for that person to dump them all with profit.

It’s typical in seasonal markets for some people to try to get out “early.” Last year, candy corn dropped fast, before Halloween was announced. It’s almost September, so I’m not that surprised someone is trying to unload their inventory.

It’s a commodities market, so of course there are similarities, especially in the way prices respond to seasonal interests (e.g. Halloween) and momentary “shocks” (e.g. new crafted items due to an update affect the supply/demand of mats).
