Hello everyone.

I would just like to ask, if any of you have any clues why are prices on lodestones and cores ( especially destroyer ) dropping so fast on price.

Destroyer was 1,7g 3 days ago, now its 80s.
Charged was 2,6g, now its 1,8g.

And on the other hand crystal lodestones raised up from 1g to 1,4g.

I must say i am gettign a bit nervous, becouse i invested 30g in destroyers…and now they are becoming worthless

Probably due to increased drop rates.

I dont see Anet mentioning increased drop rate of them.

Also this is a way too huge decrease on price over 2 days, i doubt it would be just becouse of increased drop rate.

I got one idea, dont they drop in fractals?

yes they drop in the jade fractals. you find 1 random one in the chest.

People are spending more time in the new dungeon and playing with their friends. I bet the prices will go back up on monday.

With the greatly increased drop chance for lodestones and the fact that they drop commonly out of the chests in Fractals it is not surprising that the price is going down fast.

I know in the first 200 hours of farming Orr I got exactly 0 lodestone drops. In the past 2 weeks however (and about 40 hours) I have received 6 lodestone drops

After my first run in through three fractals, I got a lodestone and two cores from the heavy bag drops. I promptly returned to the bank and TPed my overstock before the market appeared to take notice.
