I have played a few mmos before were they had rare items that people can collect and hold for value to show off or sell later for a market, I was wondering if this would ever be a thing here.

The other day I opened a dungeon loot box and I received a mastery level item “Swindlers Pants of X” (can’t remember exactly as I’m at work) but they were actually gloves. Misnamed items or bugged items, items facing the wrong way I have seen all of these items be considered rare in other mmos. Does anyone think anything like this will happen here? Anyone think the pantgloves will ever be worth anything as a rare item?

They are not Gloves.. There’s an Anet bug that has pants showing up with Glove icons. Just do a preview and see for yourself

I doubt pant gloves will be worth much.
