Why are Custom Arena Tokens still in Black Lion Chests?

They are no longer a Gem Store item and can be purchased for 2 gold by players who will use them.

I have no use for them and frankly they are the only item I have ever gotten that I have to destroy to remove them from my inventory. I have found a use for everything else I have ever gotten from the BLCs.

Put the Permanent Hair Stylist Contract in its place for all I care, just take these tokens out.

I agree. I’ve now gotten those things twice and the last time I entered a random room, used them and logged out of their room. I don’t want custom time tokens. I only PvP for the achievement points >.<

Maybe make them non account bound instead so they can be sold on the trading post.

It would be nice if they removed the essence of luck and scrolls of knowledge too. I’m not saying they’re useless, but they’re so plentiful in the world it doesn’t feel like it has enough worth to be in a black lion chest.

It’d be cool if the chest had more chest exclusive items in it.

My issue with them is that they are account bound PvP only items that can be purchased for in-game gold by players that WILL use them. There is no reason for them to be there. Had the item still been a Gem Store only item then I’d have a different opinion on them.

The essence of lucks below the legendary 500 luck should be removed too since we can easily obtain blue 50 luck essences and turn them into the exotic 200 luck essences.

I’d keep the scrolls of knowledge in them though, they are nice to come across.
