These things are priced at over 30 silver a pop. Anyone know what you can get out of them? I’ve only gotten some mithril ore so far.

Are these the things that drop in the new dungeon? I got 5 platinum ore from the ones I salvaged with a master kit.

There are 5-6 names for these – corresponding to the tier of mats you get from then when salvaged (both metal and charged widget). You kill some aetherblades in a lowbie zone, you can look forward to copper. Crack a big one, you might get a core.

If they are anything like the molten ones, you might want to use up some spare black lion kits when you do it, too.
