There’s now a character limit on the search box, which makes it really difficult to search for certain items because half the items that exist have names longer than your dumb character limit.

I basically can only search for “Superior Rune of the” before it cuts me off and I have to go back and change my search so I can find my item 5th in the search list. So yeah, thanks for making the TP less useful.

I agree this is a bug that they should fix, but I thought I’d help you out:
just search for “sigil destroyer” (for superior sigil of destroyer slaying), the top 3 will be all 3 of those sigils (minor, major, superior) and you just select the superior
even better:
search for “sup sig des sla”. Their text-searching algorithm is pretty fricking awesome. you could even do “s s d s” but that would return too many false positives (like Shaman’s Dagger). “su si de sl” would probably get what you need, but again there might be false positives. All of these will return a large list, but the one you’re looking for will be in the first spot 99% of the time (and be in the top-3 99.9% of the time).

Someone stated this issue in map chat last night. Just use keywords rather than the entire name. It’s what i did in the old system. Use something like “rune strength” for strength runes.

Thanks for this suggestion. It is making a world of difference for me.

That’s a good work-around, but it’s to a problem that shouldn’t exist: it should be easier to find the right item if you type (or paste) the full name.
