But if the glow changes the color of the hair, as it surly does in the dark – then a hair kit that says it can change the color of the hair should be able to change that then.

I agree, I just feel that seeing as the glow influences hair color it should be included in this kit.
But then you would either just be changing the color on your hair (which isn’t an option, the whole body is the same) or you would be changing stuff outside of your hair which the hair kit doesn’t allow.

But then one can argue that ears and head size also affect hair and therefore, they should be included in the kit. And from there, you can say facial features and extraneous racial features (e.g. glows) will be included. And then you may as well be doing a full body kit, aka the full makeover kit. kitten
I used the hair kit and changed the color of my Sylvari character’s hair, but it also removed the glow entirely, and not only from my her hair, but also the rest of her body except for the face. I doubt I will ever get the glow back, but if anyone has any suggestions, I might find out some way to reverse those negative effects?
Also, for anyone who still wants to get the kit for their Sylvari, it allows you change the hair, hair color, and ears.

Yep. Sadly this is one of those things most people are only going to find out about when they waste resources making a mistake. It really could be clearer what’s going on with these kits and the Sylvari…

In this case, losing the glow is a known bug, and people have been known to get a refund for the purchase of the kit because of it.
