Guild Wars 2

Someone ordered a shallot (crafting material) in the trading post for 570 gold. I go to sell one, only to realize that they are account bound. It even says account bound on the order in the trading post. Is this a bug or something? Because if you search for any other item that is account bound it doesn’t show up, and you can’t order it. Or is there some way to un-bind an item?

well known bug in the trading post regarding many of chief crafting materials.

Its not a bug. People just order account bound items that can’t be sold to show off their money.

Why should he even do that?
I mean there are at least two reasons why that someone should fail in theory:
1. The TP is anonymous, depersonalized system, where no-one knows it’s him o.O
2. The orders for Legendary Weapons, Sunrise in particular, are higher than his 570 gold anyway xD 570 gold… Pfff! Poor homeless country boy xDDD

I agree its stupid, but it is his money and if he wants to place an offer that might get filled eventually (happened with lemons) then good for him.
