Will this item ever be available to obtain anywhere again? I’m looking to craft sentinel exalted armor for WvW, yet six of these insignias alone cost nearly 85g.

Not confirmed, but Colin did say that they like the idea of adding Living Story dungeons to Fractals and were looking into it as a possibility.

They would need to shorten them a little bit to make it work, I think. It would be easier to just add them to the loot tables for world meta events, daily chests, wvw rank chests, and dungeon chests…

True. But Lost Shores was part of the Living Story too, and yet the Southsun weapon skins made a comeback. Perhaps the exact same rewards won’t be available in the Fractals version, but never say never when it comes to exclusive skins returning sometime down the line.

In any event, I don’t think what Colin said really applies to things like the Sentinel insignia/Azurite, considering those are used to craft rather generic items that look no different to normal gear. I fully expect Sentinel gear and Azurite to make a return (possibly even a permanent return) in the future.

Intricate Gossamer Insignias are pretty much T6 materials, right? Why not put them into the table with the other T6 mats when buying a T6 mat bag from a laurel merchant?

Honestly, it makes no sense to me to release a new stat-set and not have it permanently accessible. That’s giving an actual playstyle game/combat advantage over players that were here for the release. Also I don’t think Sentinel’s was released for PvP, was it? I’m really hoping that all limited-release stats do come back for good, even though I’ve already bought my full set of Sentinel’s gear.

Not the same as VPT. PVT has more power but less vitality.

Very strong chance IMO they bring something like this back, they plan on the game being around for years not months and they’re not just going to exclude an already introduced stat line (i can see them doing it with skins for obvious reasons) for those who are picking up the game a year from now… that being said, it still may not reappear for another year or so either..

You can’t get back a single rune you put into Karma armor – that’s what’s horridly wrong.

Also, Sentinels vs Soldiers. Only using Armor and potent stone for this math
