Shining Belinda Blade
Nope
Currently playing Heart of Thorns.
I usually like shinies, but I actually like this sword the way that it is.
Maybe as an option, but no one should be forced to “upgrade”.
I’d like that option tyvm. In fact I was hoping that option would one day come along and, specifically for that reason, bought it.
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/The_Delaqua_Family_Blade like this? Pretty sure it has nothing to do with the gem store item you bought.

Ok, how about if it was added to game as an additional skin that unlocks if you unlock the first one? This way we all, both existing and future purchasers, get the choice?
For the link, like that with a clean shiny metal blade. Not the tarnished to near corroded looking it has now. I thought the black was simply reflections in the TP preview when purchasing.
I have a feeling the imbued blade won’t ever be available to players (except maybe as part of a LS episode, similar to how Sylvari players could wield Caladbolg at one part in their PS.) You’d have people who paid gems for the blade up in arms over paying money for something that looks “sub-par”. (Case in point, see the Flamekissed Armor controversy.)

Wait what, the flamekissed light armor controversy was the exact opposite, people raged because a t3 human “can only be obtained via in game” on human only characters armor was now available to everyone regardless of race while t3 armor of other races did not share this same treatment. Something which is suppose to be a symbol of prestige for a race was now available at K-Mart prices.
I honestly think the delaqua blade was originally suppose to be acquired ingame until crazed otaku demanded that they can purchase it as evidenced by the fact that the blade has a physical weapon item code.
