Guild Wars 2

I have a rather expensive item listed right now. Yesterday, somebody put the same item up at the same price as mine. Today, mine is still for sale but the other is gone. I’m assuming this person removed the item… My question is: does the trading post keep track of which account listed the item first? I’m assuming the answer is yes, but I’m getting a bit anxious now :S
