After wardrobe a new gem item to unlock one Skin would be really helpful for some People.
The restrictions should be Cultural armor, legendarys, Gem store Armors and Living Story stuff and other expensive Skins like infinite light or Mjolnir.
I have a friend who only Plays PvP and searches for a cool scepter, but the only one he likes is the ascended scepter with Heal stats. He can never get this Skin because he has no interest on Pve and crafting.
With such an item it would came true.

Opinions? Useful or not?

Gems → Gold. Buy any skin you want. Pointless item.

Crafting takes ~1 hour to get from 1-500.

I did 5 crafts 1-400 the other day in about an hour… 1-500 shouldnt take longer than 20 MAYBE 30 (Some things take forever to finish crafting) minutes with a guide (which is why I can never figure out why people hate crafting so much, they’ll wait for an hour for teq but can’t handle 15 minutes to max a craft.)

Back to OP… people don’t need to be handed things just because they don’t like a game mode…. if they really want it, they’ll get out there and make it… and if they don’t they obviously didnt like it that much.

The time it takes has NEVER been the problem. It is the cost. If the player is PvP only, short of breaking out that CC said player has no chance of being able to afford to craft to 500. Then combine with the amount of work needed to get dragon ore and stuff.

Work for the skins. It doesnt matter if you work at a grease joint flipping burgers or on the TP flipping items. Limited time items like Scarlet’s Grasp are just that, limited time. If you didnt buy them when they were on the gemstore, you’re going to need to fork out the gold to buy them.
