My engineer was happy when he used a strange currency to buy some Southsun Supple crates.

I bought twenty, and had five drop – had much the same results, though I did get a Faren and Kasmeer mini, so I guess it wasn’t a total loss…

I actually would have expected the mats to be about x5 that. That’s kinda pathetic as a consolation prize for not getting any of the goodies.

I open black lion chests without complain since I actually use the “standard stuff” that has high chances of dropping – if I don’t get the uber-rare, no harm no foul. But mats I could farm in under 10 minutes? That is pretty underwhelming…

Bought 40, got kitten… 1 shoulder skin, 1 axe skin, 1 MF and 1 CT, so 4800 gems for about 10g… waste.

Bought 20 and found 10 so far.

I’ve gotten 3x Light Consortium Underwater Helms and the mandatory Mat drops.

I’m jealous of you all for getting something other then that underwater helm. -.-

Dropped arround 15 and found 1 sword skin, 1 shoulder skin and 1 MF.

Of course its going to be a loss more often than a profit. It everyone was profiting what would happen? People would sell their items for profit, buy more crates, rinse and repeat.

You are simply buying a high chance of disappointment in purchasing these RNG boxes.

i farmed reef skelk since Southsoun update and found about so far 40 crates … all filled with mats .. and the only thing i received is 2 shoulders armor skin that no one want and one mystic forge thingy ….

I have had around 30-40 I reckon and all I got was kaka

only thing worth getting is the scelerite tokens. better off buying the mini’s and the “old” skins sell for next to nothing now anyway.
