Hi, can we have some way to break previously transmuted items pls. I know it’s probably unnecessary now but I still have some items that I want to break but can’t since I took break between the patches. I believe many returning players will have the same problem as me, and it’s not a huge amount of work.

They send out splitters for Legendary items, but that’s it. It would take far, far too much man power to send out a splitter for each and every single transmuted exotic on each and every single character.

I don’t think transmutation splitters work now — the ones I had gave me 5 charges but no opportunity to use them.

You can re-skin with transmutation charges, and you can craft an item with the stats you want … but if you had a legendary skin or ascended skin on another item, the stats may be lost. You could try a support ticket, but there’s no guarantees that they’ll be able to help (basically: depends on volume; sometimes I’ve had good luck, but there’s a limit to how many they can help.)
