Guild Wars 2

So I had a pair of windcatchers sitting on a mule. Quite frankly, I forgot about them for a while with all of the ramp-up to the April 15 patch. I remember about them post-patch, and take a look, thinking I’ll finally unlock one and put the other on the TP. I go to that character to find that the skin has become unlocked, and both items are account-bound.

I submitted a ticket explaining this, and the only response back is, “We are unable to help you with this request.”

How exactly can Arenet defend this position? Clearly a bug during the patch bound these items, and now Arenanet won’t do anything about it?

There are 2 versions of windcatchers, one was a random reward, which is tradeable and 1 is traded for fortune scraps, that one was always AB on acquire.
Which one did you have?

I got both from Sanctum Sprint.

Are you sure? is it rare or masterwork?
There are 2 options:
1) enough quarell from more people then they gonna think about fixing
2) you’re screwed cuz they don’t care if it’s not gem store – more likely

I lost much more thanks to them.

It’s masterwork. A quick wiki tells me that these must have come from the vendor. I could have sworn they came from Sprint, but it was so long ago, I don’t really remember. Guess the joke was on me the whole time. Foo.

If the skin is unlocked, that’d mean the items are then account bound. You cant get the skin of an item and then proceed to sell the item.
