Something funny happening: they put mini pack in promotion, minis prices go up. They put dyes in promotion, dyes prices go up.

I wonder if I have no idea about how the market works or if prices in AH might have been manipulated somehow. Oh, but this is only a conspiracy theory., they would never manipulate the prices in AH just to make more money. There must be another explanation.

This one is easy to answer. ANet crashed the prices of minis when they introduced the rare holoknight (whoops), and didn’t help them much when they went to green. They were still too high dropping, still to cheap. This depressed the entire market to about half of what they were.

Now that dragon bash is over, prices are slowly rising back to their normal levels despite the minipack sale.

And some of the dye prices go up because everyone needed celestial to match their new radiant gloves. ^^

The minis are an achievement – so the prices would rise now the chests are in place, in addition to DB being over.
