Guild Wars 2

This is a suggestion for Upgrates section in Black Lion Trading Company.

Basically it’s a feature which will allow you to have preset builds and change them one to another when you are out of combat. And by build i mean traits AND armor.
It will allow to avoid leveling new character of the same class or having your bag stuffed with armors weapons accessories food and buffs leaving no room for anything else and wasting of time trying to remember which trait is which in each build to set them for every new fight.

For example like this Zerk build turns in Cond in 1 click:

This should not take a big amount of labour to bring to life and might interest a lot of 80 players.

They’ve talked about adding things like this, and if/when they do I doubt it will be a gemstore item. I think the most recent discussion is in the pvp forum, where this idea would be most useful.

I think that any method by which they allow for saving builds would be great. Would be my hope that they don’t find a way to charge for the ability to do so. Having any easy way to swap build and armor together would be great even if it were something on the order of a repair canister type item.

I think something such as this would be very useful in PvE, especially for fractals and dungeons.

I came into this topic thinking oh boy another ‘suggestion’, well the screenshots sold me i think this is a great idea!

Very nice screenshot and idea. It does however only allow for 2 builds. Although that’s better than what we have now, it’s still limiting. It does allow for a place to store armor and weapons not currently being used, which is a plus.

Maybe if the whole panel changed? Numbers/buttons somewhere where you could toggle a build and the whole panel switches to the set corresponding to that button. Since buttons don’t take up much room, there is space for more of them.

I don’t see your suggestion as being possible with a gem store item though. It would be more along the line of the wardrobe system, a complete reworking of the hero panel.

In the Guild Wars 2 Discussion forum would be the best place. You could always ask the moderators to close this thread (by “reporting” yourself on your first post is how I think it’s done, the little icon on the bottom right that looks like a flag) and rewrite the post on the other forum.
