To commemorate the immensely significant April 15th patch release, I suggest A-Net hold a grand “Gem Store Event” per-say, namely for one day (April 15th) place all the items from previous LS events and such, on sale (Gas Mask, Grenth Hood, Rox’s Quiver and bow, Marjory/Kasmeer/Braham weapons etc.) and not necessarily with discount prices, regular gem prices would be fine too.

This would be a good opportunity for players who have missed out on previous occasions to get the stuff they want to finally get them, and with the release of wardrobe the sales will be sky high.

ArenaNet please consider this suggestion.

They will propably do something like this. However, the Gas Mask was a meta achievement reward and will not be available for gems and the grenth hood was not a LS release but a seasonal release related to wintersday, so those 2 wont be included.

While I agree with you, I’m wondering how you can be so positive that, say, the grenth hood won’t come back. I mean so many people have begged for it. I don’t think it is unlikely that Anet would make an exception for it. I mean, they want people to purchase things after all.

While I wouldn’t be against the Grenth Hood (or even the Gas Mask) coming back for sale, I think Wanze’s point was that ANet would want to keep the G.Hood seasonal so as to increase sales during the Wintersday period.

I don’t disagree but I also don’t think it’s completely impossible.

I would love a chance at getting some of the past town clothes that they removed since they are becoming tonics/regular armor. I already bought some of them but now that they have more of a use I’ll buy more if they put them back up. I doubt it will happen but still it would be cool.

A grand sale like this would be a nice way to kick off this update patch. I’m eager to see what actually happens.
