Rather than having the Gem store gathering tools being account bound and having to constantly swap between them in the bank (logging out, then in or out again in case forgot what character they were on), why not have a system like the deluxe edition mail system where each gathering tool is mailed to a character on each account that has purchased the gem store gathering tool. Not only would this help sell the already over priced items but give a selection as to what one you want to use, ease of use, as well as stopping an influx of WvW bank hopping and accidental item deletion through deleting a character.

Anet took the the middle ground here making them account bound instead of soul bound. I think that was fair. Prior to the change you had to buy them for each character. In exchange they refunded a ton of gems to people with duplicates and costing them money. If you want the convenience of not having to bank them on character swap then buy one for each character (when they are available again). I think the current system is fair.

I agree.

However I’d love to be able to use the skins of my molten pick and the rest similarly to weapon skins on my alt picks (like I love the molten pick on my ele but due to the sprockets it makes more sense to keep the sprocket one on my ele since she’s my main).
