This is a suggestion for the function of the kits mentioned in the title. Instead of having 3 different kits based off of appearance and identity; roll them into one. The player would open the kit as usual but instead of one use: Each change you make costs a charge, spent at the end of making all adjustments like how the wardrobe and dye system now works. Depending on the change, the charge cost can be lower or higher. Example: A simple eye scale costs 1, A new hairstyle (no color change) costs 5, Hair color change cost (independent of style change) costs 3, Name change would cost the most: 15 charges. These are just cost examples to express that each slider moved has it’s own cost value that increases or decreases back to 0 when the look is returned to the original settings. Additional Charges can be bought, just like transmutes.

This would help people who want to just make small changes without blowing an entire kit because they thought that their eyes were too close together or their skin color too pale after having a long roleplay event on Southsun Cove.

This would be a positive change that would benefit the roleplay community. In light of recent changes, we need this.

I think it would be cheaper to some and more expensive to others depending on the frequency of their use. Heck..there doesn’t even have to be a kit. Just a button somewhere on your Hero panel that opens the kit so that you can play with (be lured into buying) new looks without ever having to first spend the money.
So the kit can be a part of the standard interface activated by a button and loaded with cosmetic charges from the gem store.

Depending on if the price is reasonable they will see people using it more comfortably since there would never be that thought “Is such a small change worth an entire kit??!”.. Now a small change will scale accordingly.

No. They do not cost transmutation charges for a reason.

That is not what I was asking for. They would have their own separate charges.

But if I /were/ asking that the transumute charges…what reason would there be /not/ to use them in such a system if the cost scales according to what and how much is being changed?

To be honest…

a. I think this would make the kit -more- expensiveness
and b. I don’t want to spend -extra- money on the necessary charges.

Now, if the kit were permanent, that would be a -slightly- different story, except I still do not like the idea of using charges… It’s hard enough for someone like me who can’t spend a s**t load of money on gems as is.
