I’ve been getting here and there that ANet might have banned more bots without announcing it. Whilst it’s just hearsay, there’s been a decrease on supplies.

I did pour 10 g into buying them to finish all Tier 4 crafts on my account recently abut 3-4 days ago.

All items have increased in price, t6 mats, ecto’s (and of course rares). Probably due to botbanning, I can’t think of any other event that could trigger such a price change in the market.

As far as I see, Powerful Venom Sac is the only mat that hasn’t varied as much as the others T6 and T4 in the past few weeks (price and supply wise). Although it’s been getting a lot of spikes in the last few days, varying around 2s + or – . I believe it should start rising soon, just following the trend of everything else

Maybe they secretly added a new secret forge recipe, and only a handful of people have figured it out and are now profiting greatly as we sit here wondering why prices are shooting up.

Remember when t6 mats price go up, it ripples down through all the items by making the mystic forge upgrade recipe profitable until the items go up in price a certain amount. So people start buying more and thus prices go up on them too (until it’s not so profitable anymore).
Thus t5 prices go up. If t5 prices go up, people look at the cheap t4 mats and start buying those to do the forge upgrade to sell t5s too.
