just wanting to see what people would thing about a asuran tech themed camera “toy”
that you cant use in combat ( as soon as ur hit u go back to your character)

but while u have this camera out you can separate your view from your character and float around as a free cam within a certain radius of your character.

allows people to have a first person mode( sorta) as well as giving different angles for screen shots and potential machinima ( i wanna make videos in guild wars)

this will help the people that are crying out for this feature and appease the ones that dont… i think

can i get some opinions and feed back?

So a transform that not only stores where you are, but where YOU are and then auto-corrects it (smoothly) when you get hit.

I can see that working without a problem…

well it think they can cause there is a similar process used when a Mesmer uses a sword skill that jumps to target(leaving a clone) and then can teleport back to that target by tapping it again

perhaps my hopes for the vertical plain may be a bit high but surely theres a way to do with that can utalise a transform tonic ( perhaps complete invisibility) and then use the mechanic that the Mesmer uses with the clone.
except all this is put into the toys actions.

heck id love to be able to use my character and stuff still but that dosnt seem doable

This exact suggestion was made last year, check the List of things we want in the gem store thread that floats around.

I think selling basic functionality is a great idea.

I’d also like to request a Gemstore item that keeps the camera from being a complete piece of kitten when running CM while we’re at it. I’ll pay 100 gems to not look off through a random bunch of rocks.
