You would have to restyle your hair every hour for like 6 months to make your money back based on the price of the single use gem store version.

If there was one going for 1300 gold I would have bought it in a heartbeat.

That’s the highest bid price. Last time any were available the sell price was 2500g … and 1c.

Some people are just use to messing with their character’s hair.

If I had that kind of gold, I would totally have bought it. No joke.

It’s the best item in game imo, and continuously rises in value since hair kit value is based on gems. And there might not even be any non-soulbound ones left in the game given there were so few to begin with. Wish I wouldn’t have sold my second kit back in January for 300g, but I’m just happy I have what will end up the rarest item in game if not re-released (which wouldn’t surprise me since it cuts into gem sales).

Guess for some ppl this is important, but messing with hair is not even fun in RL, much less GW.

I’ve got 6 Total Makeover Kits in my bank (bought 5 on sale when they first came out, used 1, since gotten 2 more from Massive Achievement Chests), so if I ever got a Permanent Hair Stylist contract, I’m TOTALLY selling it for 2500 gold.

They don’t drop in black lion chests, wiki is wrong. They only ever dropped from wintersday gem boxes, which is why supply tanked sharply after wintersday and never recovered.

Are you 100% sure? A friend of mine got one from a bl chest… maybe he was wrong, whatever.. maybe 1 in 100 000… and yes, i was also suprised to see it on page one … and i got that listed one a few hours later not sure if they come back in december or not ( like the halloween skins..)
