Well it was 540G 2 days back…Wow. They need to bring the patch where you can craft pre-cursors fast lol.

the 759g offer could be the same trader – the 1333 listing is merely a 66g sacrifice;
the result is that the “acceptable” price has now gone up by 200+g in 2 days.

So you guys think that all precursers start being sold out shortly before a patch about ascended stuff and this has nothing to do with information coretesters have?

Like when hundreds of thousands of ori were sold at 2s over a few days before the patch removed the node in southsun?
Or like the ectocrashes?

A simpler explanation is that the screen shots just released are titled “legendary weapons” and “ascended weapons”. Thus people are buying up precursors for that reason.

What I don’t understand is why…? I would be incredibly surprised if the new legendaries use the same precursors as the old ones… I mean the most logical thing to do would be change 1 gift and the precursor for the new legendaries.

Ascended weapons will be so expensive to craft, that it will be worth to have a legendary weapon where you can swap the stats whenever you want.
Also the timegate will make it worth it to have a “all in one Item” where you only have to change sigils if you change builds.

Precursers will be doubling and trippling their prices pretty soon.

Relisting a Legend for 1333g….might aswell be awesome and do it at 1337g.

Ascended armor and weapons will be account bound and time gated… so no you won’t…

I’m assuming legendaries will become account bound as well when they get upgraded to ascended.

I think i’ve read that the mats you need are accountbound, but you can sell the final product.

The devs said they have no plans to do legendary armor in the next few years so not sure what you’re talking about then.

Also the mats will be tradeable but time gated but the final products will be account bound. This is to make crafters “valuable”. It is stated in the july blog post if you need a reference.

They said not this year. But they will come soon. Find this information in the same blogpost you are referring to.

You won’t see legendary armor any time soon, you will see Ascended Armor in 2013 for sure though, yes.
