I understand that Anet are working on ways to remove the ongoing plague of bots but the fact remains that for months those bots have thrived and flooded the economy.

Assuming the bots are ‘beaten’ and those accounts are banned will the economy also be adjusted to repair the damage done there? Will the items & cash generated by botters also be removed or the gem/gold rate reset?

Its not so easy to remove bots from the game. once the boots is banned or deleted the people who use them will create more and is always updating the bot program(s) to make it better and less detectable. so Anet will always continue to battle the bots.

the company has to be committed to finding, and removing this. its an ongoing battle, this is one of their PvP battles. if they ignore it, the game will die. they need to add more resources/ppl etc. to keep fighting the problem.
