Do you guys think these might be worth a buy? It’s only 1c above vendor value and has virtually never risen above that price. The only thing I’d imagine arena net doing is decreasing their drop or salvage rate.

It’s a pretty low risk speculation but it’d take forever to work through that much supply. So that leaves ArenaNet doing something like they did with butter, which is possible but hardly something you’d want to buy into. Instead of buying them off the AH, just hold onto any supply you acquire, maybe you’ll get lucky but I’d put my money in steady earnings vs. lottery tickets regardless of how cheap you can get them.

Eh, not worth it. First off they’re so low cost already that even if they skyrocketed you’d have to have hoarded a ton to make a reasonable profit. But they are not likely to skyrocket anytime soon, since there is such a gigantic supply to work through, and it just doesn’t seem like a good Anet would make a priority of altering.

You’d essentially just be wasting your pickup tab for eons for a low-risk, low potential reward item.

When other mats started rising I bought about 2000 just as a hedge. They never moved so I just used them for crafting. Used the last of them today.

I did see Cured Thick Sections selling below cost once. Didn’t really make sense except people skilling on them and not using them.
