Will skins be cheaper now?
What do you guys think?
I didnt noticed any change in prices for the skins,and looks like the ticket scrap drop rate is VERY high now,like 7/10

There was a pretty big price spike up to the patch. But the drop rate seems pretty significant. Glad I didn’t speculate investing in the weapons in bulk or anything. I suspect the price will go down. But its too early too tell. I think its too early to tell because a bulk of people aren’t actively working on the collection. But something that will come with time. So basically, I think there will be a price decrease for a fair amount of time followed by a progressive increase over a long time. Thats my uneducated guess anyways.

Well, there’s definitely something to be said about any increase in supply. As it stands, several skin types have spiked because of the introduction of collections, so there currently is a rapid increase in demand. I only think this influx of demand will last short term, or at least until the whole ‘new content’ bubble bursts, but I digress. In my opinion, the skin market will be relatively super-inflated in the extreme short term, and as time goes on it will gradually deflate to a stable price area set between the actual supply of tickets(coming from chests and collections now) and the actual demand of collectors and cosmetic consumers. I don’t have a realistic number of where this ‘stable price’ is, because I don’t have factual statistics on what the true increase in supplied tickets is, but they in no way would plummet past their pre patch price, especially now that we have collections to control the pricing (buying deflated collections to convert into expensive skins with the collection ticket pay out).

Dang, should have sold those skins as soon as I got them last night or just after the patch went live. Prices down at least 20%.

It will be funny if they make the change.

They had a event a while ago to double the drop rate, and it is even higher now. (if they actually change it)

I see why they are dropping, I got bad info about Chaos skins going off 1 ticket today. No wonder it seems everyone has a Chaos skinned weapon.

well there’s going to be less key farmers? at least less keys in the same amount of time.

So, in that..will prices maybe, stay the same?
Unless there’s suddenly more buyers? I think we’ll see it best on the next bl skin introduced.

Prices aren’t changing because the drop rate of full tickets is down.

I opened 250 BL chests yesterday and got 70 scraps and zero full tickets. Previously I would have expected to get 50 scraps and two full tickets.

It’s neutral.

I think there is some RNG here, opened 25, got 2 full tickets and 8 scraps.
