We can’t do anything about the gambling scam you got yourself into, but the silver lining is: don’t gamble. Don’t touch anything that has “random chance to get xxx” on it even with 100 miles long pole

It sounds like you lost your sense of reality and your perception of whats important is out of whack. Taking time away from the game might be a smart idea. No item in the game is worth $60, and no three is worth $120. If these items were guaranteed at that price, or less, they still wouldn’t be worth the price. Pay the money and next month more shineys will come out. None of it is going to make you happy or satisfied with the game.

ROFLOL! That’s hilarious. I’d imagine the $120 was also dragged out into a slow motion as well.

This is like the 200th thread about people whining about RNG. Listen People, whatever you want to blame on Anet is really your fault. Anet has created a unique experience for every player through RNG so its just like real life, which also has no gAURANTEES. Be thankful for anything you get in the game and treat everything you get like a surprise because it is truly random which makes it fun from the right perspective. To go after certain items by spending money on randomness makes you a poor consumer and makes Anet very happy as it shows once again how impulsive some people truly are even facing incredibly small odds (worst than Vegas). However because every person operates under free will and no one forces them to save their money, all I can say is hope you have fun gambling. I also buy black lion chest keys and spend real money for keys but I open them for fun with no expectations and when I am running low on cash, I just save the chests or sell them as its no big deal. Getting emotional over gambling losses is NOT Anet’s fault and is solely your fault if you are disappointed as they did not promise you anything and in reality it is less fun if everybody has the same stuff (armour, weapons, trinkets, etc.). Yes, it does make them a lot of money but it also keeps everyone’s experience different and even my different alts have different experiences so that is pretty cool.

Could be worse Airwick. It took me 90 crates for 1 ticket. I think quitting the game after spending $120 will just make you feel worse about wasting your money. Why don’t you just freeload on the servers and enjoy your two skins and most importantly never buy RNG boxes again if they make you feel crappy about a game you otherwise enjoy.

As for myself I decided I really wanted one skin so I spent as much as I needed to in order to have it. Was it too much for what I got? Absolutely, but I worked some RL overtime and it worked to about 2 hours of overtime to pay for it which is better than my luck at farming would have been.

Heck if it took me 90 crates of farming it would have taken me like 40+hours to attain one. Almost makes me feel like I got a good deal, how sad is that haha.
